Allow me to introduce myself
A little about me
After nearly 10 years of being involved in the website development industry, I still find myself just as intrigued by the whole process today. During my career, over 400 websites have had my influence by various combinations of design, programming, client care and maintenance. In addition to pleasing the website end-user, I continue honing the process to achieve better, faster results each time. There are many factors in determining a successful project, but if I was asked to only name one, I would say Communication. Communication is important in understanding what is expected of me, what the goals are, and how to solve issues quickly to keep the project on track.
I have worked with companies building large web applications as well as brochure websites for smaller organizations. Each project requires the same attention to reaching it's target audience, and keeping them coming back through interesting content and ease of use. My experience enables me to provide a well-rounded skill set to my clients including web/graphics design, brand identity & marketing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content architecture, PHP, CSS and HTML programming. I also offer affordable E-mail and hosting packages.
About the flower
I always aim to find different ways to make ordinary objects interesting. Using a couple of my handy design programs I created this image from scratch to portray flowers in a less traditional arrangement. During my process I discovered a form of Japanese flower arranging known as Ikebana. In no way am I considering myself an artist of this ancient art form, but it did inspire my portfolio design.
